A volcanologist and geochemist with a strong academic background and with proven expertise to solving geological problems. An interdisciplinary approach to research integrates many techniques such as strong field work, geochemical analyses and computer modelling to understand complex problems ranging from the 3D architecture of volcaniclastics, to the risk faced by communities from hazardous volcanic flows
